My story

Our little geek Zeke would love for you to give him a lifetime of kisses on the cheek! At 13 weeks old, Zeke is a chunky little pup with a huge heart, rivaling the size his paws. He’s equal parts snuggly sweetheart and rowdy rascal, always down for a cuddle session but never one to turn down a good wrestling match, chew toy time or romp around the yard. Zeke is a gentle, loving soul who soaks up affection like a sponge and gives it back tenfold. He loves to hang his head over your shoulder or on your chest while you wrap him up for a snuggle. He loves to give and receive cheeky kisses while cuddling. Zeke and his sisters came from a heartbreaking situation: a makeshift outdoor pen in Kansas where they were left exposed to the elements after their owner went to prison. Thankfully, our rescue was able to bring them to safety here in Nebraska. Somewhere along the way, the litter was exposed to parvo and couole of his siblings contracted it. Miraculously, Zeke stayed healthy the whole time, remaining our happy, chunky survivor with a tail that never stops wagging. Zeke is fully vetted with, age appropriate of course. He has had a couole DAPP vaccines, rabies vaccine, bordatella, flea and tick preventative, dewormer and is neutered! This smart boy is diligently potty pad trained and only has the occasional accident in his kennel after long stretches alone. He listens intently when you talk to him and has been a breeze to train. He’s been around cats, dogs, and kids, and gets along with everyone he meets, truly a social butterfly with a wrinkly and squishy face. While he’s still learning the ropes of leash life, he does well once he warms up and prefers to stick close to the people he trusts anyway. He’s a quiet kennel pup… unless it’s mealtime, of course (a big boy’s gotta eat!). Geeky Zekey has been through a lot in his short life, but he's more than ready to trade survival for stability and find the forever home where he can thrive.
