My story

Introducing Miss Shego, the best biscuit maker in town! With her stunning torbie coat (a beautiful mix of tortoiseshell and tabby patterns) and her striking green eyes, Shego is as gorgeous as she is sweet. She has a quirky habit of making biscuits with her front paws whenever she gets attention. Whether it’s on the floor, your lap, a cozy blanket, or even mid-air, Shego will happily knead away. She’s a total sweetheart who thrives on human affection. Shego’s journey to indoor life started on a farm, where she spent her time outdoors. When the farmer passed away, The Phoenix Remix stepped in to help the farm’s cats, getting them fixed and finding loving indoor homes for the friendly ones like Shego. At first, Shego was a bit unsure about this whole “indoor living” thing. In fact, she managed to hide in the ductwork and the space between the floor and ceiling for nearly two weeks! She’d come down for food, water, and to use the litterbox, but quickly retreat to her hideaway. Once she was moved to a room where she couldn’t escape, Shego soon realized how wonderful it was to get love and attention from her foster mom. Now, she eagerly waits at the door to greet her foster mom with affection. As she continues to settle in, Shego’s playful side is coming out. She loves chasing teaser toys and batting balls around the room. Shego has also met the resident dogs and, after a proper introduction, she’s learned to get along well with them. The calm dogs have won her over, and she now greets them with sweet headbutts. She may take a little longer to warm up to more active dogs, but we’re confident she’d do well with any dog as long as they respect her space. The resident cats in her foster home haven’t had the chance to meet her yet. However, Shego is no stranger to living with other cats—on the farm, she was one of the boss cats! We think she’d do well with another confident cat, as long as they’re not too timid. As always, any new cat introductions should be done slowly. Ready to meet this sweet biscuit-maker? Shego is looking for her forever home, and we’re sure she’ll bring lots of love and joy to the right family! Shego is estimated at 2 years old and is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully litterbox trained. Apply to give her a forever home at https://thephoenixremixrescue.com/!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Shego, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
