Baby Grey

My story

A volunteer writes:Baby Grey came to the Manhattan Care Center with a large group of cats, too many of them for their landlord. Nothing much really is known about her...Baby Grey has remained very shy within our walls. She spent some time in our community room where she peacefully coexisted with a variety of other cats but remained seclusive, clearly overwhelmed by the sudden changes in her life. Baby Grey accepts petting, even leans a little against my hand and emits a faint purr(see her video). I think she tries to be the good girl she truly is but can not shake off her ordeal and move on. She is cute, a sweet grey mouse with a very special little triangular face. Baby Grey needs the warmth of a loving and understanding new owner to slowly bloom into the lovely cat she most likely is. May be another gentle cat could help her overcome her shyness. Come and meet Baby Grey very soon at the Manhattan Care Center.I have lived with cats in my previous home.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I have lived with cats at ACC and I'm doing well with them in the Free Roaming Room, so I would likely do well in a multi-cat home.
