My story

Introducing China! She was brought to the shelter on 4/9 because her former pet parent was downsizing and no longer had room for her. China is only 4 years old and weighs a mere 96lbs. The volunteers describe her as sweet big girl, cute, and obedient. We are heartbroken for her because she is scared because she lost her home and the only family she has ever known. The volunteers are working with her to build her confidence and let her know it wasn't her fault. She is one smart cookie as she knows sit when asked and she may know more. She is very gentle on a leash. China is also house trained, dog friendly, and good with kids. Please take some time and visit with her in Run 87; her ID is 9278. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. China is current on vaccines, will be spayed and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. China is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
