My story

This handsome boy with the stunning eyes is Simba! He was surrendered to the shelter on 4/13 because his family was moving and could not take him. They did note that Simba is house-trained, good with kids, and good with other dogs! The volunteers describe Simba as very sweet and well-behaved, and treat-motivated. He knows several commands, including sit, lie down, and stay. If Simba sounds like the BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him today! Simba is 2 years old and weighs 62 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and tested negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Simba is waiting patiently in run 830; his ID # is 9360. Note - volunteers do all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
