She will explore things with her mouth by nibbling on them, including your toes and hands so an experienced cat owner would be best. She likes to be petted and is very food motivated so offering her kitty treats is a great way to get her to bond with you. She would do well in a home with children old enough to understand her mouthy-ness is only play driven and can help teach her how to use toys instead of hands. Blackberry tends to watch activity for a while before starting to play but then can be very playful and active once she feels secure. She can play by nibbling or biting on your pant legs and will need continued training to redirect her to a toy if she play-bites. She is extremely sweet! She enjoys companionship, being held and being petted. A great combination of both playful and affectionate. She gets along well with other cats and loves her sister BlackCherry!  Blackberry would be best matched in a calm household.       This kitty has joined our adoption center located inside of Petsmart at 5879 Lone Tree Way in Brentwood CA. Viewing available anytime during store hours however meet & greets and adoptions take place between 12-4pm daily. To meet any of our adoption center kitties you must have an approved application on file. You can fill one out in store by speaking to a petcare associate or you can be pre-approved online by going to www.catsupport.net and clicking on the “apply to adopt”. Filling out an adoption application is not a promise that you will adopt that animal nor does it guarantee your right to adopt. It is simply a questionnaire for our matching process.
