My story

Meet Huron! Huron came all the way from Santa Barbara County Animal Services to become a Frosted Face on April 13th. Huron is about 10 years old and weighs 8 lbs. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, low-key companion, Huron is your man! He’s full of love to give and is simply looking for a home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by kindness and care. Things to know (and love) about this cutie pie: * Huron loves being close to his humans. If he dozes off and wakes to find you gone, he’ll trot off to track you down—then light up with joy the moment he sees you! * That said, he is quiet and calm when home alone —no barking or separation anxiety. He’ll just curl up and nap while you’re away. * Huron is great with other dogs and cats, too! * Not too interested in toys, but he’s a big helper in the kitchen and would love to be your personal taste tester! * Huron loves to eat! He’s currently getting extra calories to help him gain weight. * He enjoys going for walks! His back little legs can’t handle long distances, but he loves riding in a sling or stroller when his legs get tired. * Huron rides well in the car and is easy to bring along for adventures. He will happily tag along wherever you want to take him - to the beach, a coffee shop or restaurant, or running errands. Huron has even gone to a yoga class! * He sleeps peacefully at night in his bed next to yours. Huron currently lives with a Foster family while he waits for his forever home. Might that be with you?
