My story

Hi! I'm Tails! I'm an approximately 2 year old, male, Aussie/Heeler mix who weighs about 45 lbs. I was found with a friend on Firewheel Drive in Rockwall County and brought to the shelter on 04/12/2025. Sadly, I was never reclaimed. I am a sweet boy who enjoys the company of other dogs and people of all ages! I am not suggested with cats or dogs smaller than I am. I enjoy long walks and snoozing on a comfy bed. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccine and basic boosters. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment for my heartworm disease at little to no cost to my adopter. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
