NORAH

My story

This sweetheart is Norah! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 4/8 and no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers describe Norah as sweet, but shy. She spends most of her time sleeping on her Kuranda bed. She does roll over for belly rubs and loving pets. She has had puppies in the past, but has taken the "no more puppies" pledge. Unfortunately, Norah did test positive for heartworms which puts her at risk in the overcrowded shelter. Norah needs a hero. Could that be you? Norah is approximately 4 years old and weighs 48 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and spayed; she will be microchipped upon adoption. Though she tested positive for heartworms she can go on to live a long and healthy life with proper treatment and care. Please speak with shelter staff about the possibility of fostering to adopt while Norah receives her treatment. She is waiting patiently in run 90; her ID # is 9259. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
