My story

Meet Paneer – A Brave Girl with a Big Heart Paneer is a sweet and resilient female pup who made her way to us all the way from Texas. After surviving a life-threatening illness called distemper, she has proven to be a true fighter. Thanks to dedicated medical care and her own strong spirit, Paneer has made an incredible recovery. We are now seeking a foster-to-adopt home for Paneer—one that can offer her patience, love, and a calm environment as she continues to thrive. At this time, she will need to be the only dog in the home while we monitor her long-term health. Because Paneer’s journey has been a unique one, we’d love the chance to talk with potential adopters directly. We’ll walk you through everything you need to know about her care, personality, and what makes her such a special girl. If you’re open to learning more about Paneer and giving a survivor a second chance, we’d love to hear from you! This cutie resides at our Wantagh location and meetings are by appointment only.
