My story

Hi, I’m Quincy!I’m a spunky, smart little terrier mix with a heart full of love and a nose ready for adventure! I’ve got tons of energy and a big personality packed into a compact body, and I love being with my humans whenever I can. Whether it’s going for a hike, a car ride, or just hanging out in the yard, I’m your go-to guy for fun and companionship.I’m super playful and still learning all the human rules, but I’m a quick study—I already know sit, down, and my crate command! Sometimes I get a little too excited and start play-biting hands or arms, but I’m working on learning what’s okay to chew (toys, not fingers!). I do best with consistent training, plenty of playtime, and a home where I can keep learning and growing.I’m fully housetrained and I take treats like a gentleman. I’m still working on getting comfortable with my crate, especially when my people leave—being alone makes me a little anxious. My foster is helping me feel better about it by giving me fun enrichment toys and activities while I’m in there.I’ve been friendly and passive with both big and small dogs, and I adore older kids. I`m a little shy around new men at first, but once I warm up, I`m a total lovebug. I also have a blast chasing squirrels and birds, so I’d really enjoy a fenced yard to explore!If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy who will make you laugh, keep you moving, and snuggle up after a fun day, I might just be your perfect match.
