My story

My name is Patsy, and I really need your help! I was found on a highway near the BCAR shelter, and now I have a safe place to eat and sleep. The staff here took me to the doctor for the removal of my rectal tumor and have cared for me since. Although my cancer might return, I feel better now, and my treatment is easy. One pill a day to help keep any further growth manageable. I enjoy walking, playing, and giving hugs. I have lots of love and life left to share. Are you the caring family I’m dreaming of who will love me? And oh, a comfortable bed in the sun with some treats sounds amazing too! Patsy is a MEDICAL ADOPTION. BCAR will continue to pay for all medical expenses related to her condition. Come meet this sweet girl. All BCAR dogs are placed as indoor family pets. No electric fences, please.
