This handsome guy loves head pets, tasty treats, and quiet moments with his favorite people. He’s not the kind of cat who demands attention, but he’ll happily soak it up once he warms up to you. Scrappy has lived with other cats and a small dog before and did well, though he tends to prefers to hangout in his own spots. He also did best with older kids who could respect his need for a slow, gentle approach. He’s a big fan of his scratching post and enjoys lounging around rather than chasing toys all day—perfect for someone looking for a laid-back buddy to share their space. If you have a calm home and a little patience, Scrappy will reward you with companionship and plenty of love. Come meet this sweet kitty and see if he’s the right match for you! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. If you're ready to adopt now: Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00!
