My story

Hi! My name is Emery and I am adorable! I also have something called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). That’s just a big name that means I’m a little wobbly when I walk and sometimes tip over. Don’t worry though—CH isn’t painful, it isn’t contagious, and it doesn’t get worse over time. Cats like me live completely normal, happy lives, we just do it with a little extra wobble. Even though I’m wobbly, I actually get around perfectly fine. I’ve learned how to balance myself and I almost always catch myself before I fall. I can eat, play, explore, and do all the normal kitten things just like any other kitten. I’m still getting used to all the changes I’ve been through, so it can take me a little time to warm up to new people. I was the shyest kitten in my litter, which is probably why I’m still waiting for my forever home. But I truly believe that in a calm home with patience, love, and lots of treats I will blossom into an amazing companion. Head rubs are my weakness, and once I trust you I melt right into them. I also love other cats and even dogs. They make me feel safe and help me come out of my shell. People just make me a little nervous at first. All I need is someone willing to give me a chance and let me go at my own pace. I promise I’m worth it, wobbles and all. 🐾💛
