My story

Hello, my name is North. I am a sweet 18 month old female Pit mix that weighs 67 lbs. I was surrendered to RAC due to my previous family no longer being able to care for me. I am now looking for a FURever home to call my own. I am leash and crate trained. I have done well with my litter mate however, if you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is recommended to make sure we get along well. I would do best in a home with older children that have experience with big dogs. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies, basic boosters are to date, and I am heartworm negative. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applicants in order to schedule a meet and greet.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
