Meet Brownie – Sweet, Soft, and Ready to Rise Brownie isn’t just a treat by name—she’s a soft-hearted, sugar-sweet pup who’s been through more than her fair share but still manages to show just how much love she has to give. You might remember her as the brave mama who dug a six-foot hole under a crawlspace to safely bring her puppies into the world. That same determination and heart are exactly what make her so special. After months of healing, growing, and learning how to trust, Brownie is ready to find a forever home of her own. She may not come bounding up to you right away—this tender girl needs a bit of time to warm up—but once she knows you’re safe, she melts into a loving, loyal cuddlebug. At night, Brownie becomes your shadow. She’ll curl up close, soaking in every bit of affection she can, like she’s been waiting her whole life just to feel safe in someone’s arms. She walks beautifully on a leash, plays wonderfully with other dogs and finds her greatest confidence when she has a canine companion by her side. Brownie is also one smart cookie—treat-motivated and quick to learn. She’s still navigating a bit of separation anxiety and would thrive in a home where someone’s around often or where she has a dog buddy to keep her company. And yes, she’s still in her chewing phase, but she’s easily redirected with a good chew toy—and maybe a pair of slippers kept safely out of reach. This girl has come so far from the frightened mama in survival mode. She’s sweet, soulful, and full of quiet resilience. Brownie just needs someone patient and kind to help her continue to bloom into the joyful, trusting companion she’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a dog who’s as sweet as her name and full of heart, Brownie might be your perfect match. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
