Meet Corky – A Gentle Giant 🐾 Breed: Purebred Great Pyrenees 🎂 DOB: 12/24/2023 ⚖️ Weight: ~70 lbs (working on gaining a healthy weight) Corky is a beautiful, purebred Great Pyrenees just over a year old. She’s already mastered her house manners—fully potty trained and not at all interested in chewing up your things. She’s also kennel trained and prefers a plastic crate for her cozy retreat. This friendly girl adores the company of other dogs and loves cats, making her a great companion for a multi-pet household. She’s currently on a nutritious diet to help her reach her ideal weight and is doing wonderfully in her foster home. Corky is looking for a forever home with a secure outdoor space where she can roam, relax, and take in the sights and smells like her breed was born to do. The Great Pyrenees is a majestic, thick-coated working breed originally developed to guard flocks on snowy mountains. Today, they are calm, loyal family companions known for their gentle nature and watchful presence. While mellow and peaceful, they remain alert and can spring into action when needed, moving with surprising grace and strength. Their stunning coats are typically all white or white with beautiful gray, tan, or reddish markings.
