My story

Meet Judy Hopps—a 9-month-old pint-sized pit mix with oversized ears and an even bigger personality! Weighing in at just 32 pounds, this little lady is a whirlwind of energy, charm, and chaos in the most lovable way.Judy is deaf, but don’t worry—she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. In fact, she’s been picking up sign language like a pro and already knows “sit,” “come,” and “good girl.” We’re still working on “no” (she’s not sure she likes that one), but with a pocketful of treats and a little patience, Judy will do just about anything.Miss Hopps is looking for an active, fun-loving, and patient family that understands she’s still learning the ropes. She’s mostly house trained (she’ll hold it until you take her out, but hasn`t quite mastered asking to go out) and doing well on leash, though squirrels and birds are very exciting distractions. Some of Judy’s favorite hobbies include popping dog-friendly bubbles, collecting sticks for her personal porch pile, and joyfully rolling in the mud with zero regrets. She’s not going to be your guard dog (she’s more of a “run from the snake with you” kind of girl), but she will be your cuddly sidekick, sock thief, and mud-loving goofball.Judy Hopps is an adorable wild child with so much love to give. She’s still learning, but with the right family to guide her, she’s going to grow into something truly special. We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
