They not only saved her from euthanasia but also uncovered a heartbreaking truth: Bambi had been spayed during her third trimester at the shelter. Despite enduring the loss of her puppies and the challenges of shelter life, Bambi’s resilience shines through. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). Our adoption fee is $300 plus health certificate ($50) and transport ($200 for most locations). This adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), fecal analysis, and a heartworm test. Spay may not be done for a puppy yet due to age. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport. ##2368923##
