My story

Hey there, I’m Trixie! Let me tell you a little about myself—I’ve got a big heart, a playful spirit, and a serious knack for stealing the spotlight (and your lap). I came to this rescue from another one, just like my mom, Lucy. Yep, she’s my mama, but we’re not a bonded pair, so I’m totally ready to find my own forever home and start my next chapter. Right now, I’m in a foster home with other dogs, and I’m loving the social scene! I’m dog-friendly and love having buddies to play or nap with. I’m also really into people—like, really into them. I’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. You want a cuddler? I’ve got you. A couch companion? That’s my specialty. I’ve been told I’m a sweetheart with a goofy streak, and I think that sums me up pretty well. I love car rides, behave like a champ at the vet, and I’m housetrained too. Pretty smart, if I do say so myself! I’ve got a mellow, laid-back vibe most of the time, but I also love to play and make people laugh with my silly antics. I'm great with kids, especially ones who know how to be gentle and respectful with dogs. I do shed a bit, but I make up for it with snuggles and love. Fair trade, right?
