My story

Thor von Trier is a 9-10 month old that is a handsome, fluffy black and brown pup with a heart full of love and a fun, easy going spirit! Thor is a happy, social dog who is ready to find his forever family. Thor walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out for walks, jogs, or just exploring the world by your side. He’s always up for an adventure but is just as content relaxing and hanging out with his people. Thor has a wonderful, balanced personality: playful when it’s time for fun, and calm when it’s time to settle down. He loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has also passed his cat test— making him a great fit for a home with feline friend. He’s happiest when he’s getting attention, playing with his buddies, or lounging at your feet. Thor is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being petted and making new friends wherever he goes. In playgroups, Thor is a star! He greets new dogs politely, invites them to play, and takes breaks to relax and enjoy the yard. He had a blast playing with lots of different dogs, showing off his friendly and adaptable nature. Rescued from the South LA animal shelter. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
