My story

Meet Layla, a beautiful 2.5-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix weighing 48 pounds of pure sweetness. She was lovingly surrendered by her previous family due to housing changes and is now ready to find her forever home.Layla is house/crate trained, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped—truly the full package. She can be timid at first, especially with storms and loud noises, but once she feels safe, she turns into the ultimate cuddle bug. She loves to snuggle into blankets and lean her full weight into you like she’s melting into love. Layla is wonderful on a leash, enjoys calm walks, and is great with other dogs, cats, and people.While she hasn’t shown much interest in toys yet, she may just need a little more time to come out of her shell. She already knows how to sit and lay down, and her dream home would be with someone patient, gentle, and ready for a loyal, affectionate snuggle buddy. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
