HERSCHEL ~~ Neutered Male, Pit Bull Terrier Mix, Black and White, DOB: 5/20/2015, 74 pounds **Herschel is eligible for our Seniors for Seniors Adoption Discount. If a Senior Citizen adopts Herschel, we will waive the adoption fee completely and will offer his new owner a 20% discount on all of Herschel's future vet services, food, medications, etc. This is our very handsome and happy boy, Herschel. He is a sturdy, stocky bundle of black and white love! Herschel is an amazing dog who is super social, very well behaved, and does not have accidents in his kennel. Herschel makes it his full time job to greet everyone that he meets and does not leave anyone out. He also does very well on the leash and enjoys going for walks. Herschel would love to live in a home with his own fenced backyard, cool toys to play with, comfy beds to nap in and maybe another friendly dog or two. Herschel loves children and would enjoy having playmates in his life. He is a gentle, sweet and very loving boy who is looking for a second chance at a great new life. MEDICAL: Herschel is healthy, current on vaccines/vet services/bloodwork, has a negative fecal test and heartworm test. His adoption fee is $144 and includes a month of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites) to go home with him. Herschel should remain on heartworm and flea/tick prevention for life to keep him happy and healthy. Monday to Friday 630AM to 7PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays. No appointment is necessary to meet any of our adoptable strays. Adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.
