I am a DSH black male named Paganini, and I was born approximately 3/25/22. I am on the shy side at first, but I do love my human attention. My 15+ siblings/cousins and I were born on a property in Calhan and rescued by Wild Blue Cats during a TNR event. I was one of the newborns who were rescued with our mamas and housed together in Kaylene's Kradle. We were fondly called "the kitten pile" because many of us nursed on several mamas. We all had a little scare with Panleuk but were treated, and we were all survivors! We were also treated for ringworm. As a result, I was a bit shy with my human relations after that but I loved being pet. I was adopted twice and both times returned due to a change in the household. In addition, the other kitties in the home were a bit of a bully and I had litter box issues because of the stress. I've determined that I really need to be the one and only cat to thrive, and I am most comfortable when my environment is peaceful and consistent. I am getting back to my old self, but for now, I like a slower introduction with new friends because of all the changes I've been thru lately. I am also eating Hill's Diet C/D cat food that helps support urinary health and I'm having no bathroom issues. I will need dedicated attention, and lots of wand play to further solidify my trust again and bolster my confidence. My playful side will reappear, I'm sure! I will do much better in a quiet stable adult home where I can become comfortable at my own pace. I'll need you to follow the introduction procedures provided by Wild Blue and make my transitions gradual. I need a patient adopter that will allow me time to relax and feel safe in the home. Could I be the one for you? If so please fill out an adoption application at http://www.wbcats.org/adopt.April 22, 2025, 3:16 pm
