My story

Ruby is a one-of-a-kind pup with a heart full of love and energy to match! This playful, protective, and oh-so-cuddly girl is looking for a forever home where she can stick close to her person—literally. Once she bonds with you, she’s your shadow, following you everywhere and always ready to snuggle or play.She’s incredibly loyal, smart, and eager to please—off-leash recall? She’s got it down. Ruby thrives with a confident owner she can trust and loves having space to stretch her legs and run. She’s kennel trained but prefers to be out and about, sticking by your side and keeping watch like the devoted companion she is.Ruby can be a little anxious when left alone or meeting new dogs, but once she feels safe, she’s a social butterfly who just wants to say hi. She loves playtime, exploring, and even climbing slides with you (yes, really!). She needs a home that will keep her mind and body active and give her all the love she’s ready to give in return.Ruby is currently in foster care outside of the shelter.
