Meet Dove,A once feral kitten, Dove is still on a journey of learning to trust humans and feel safe in a home environment.Surrendered to us through no fault of her own, Dove is now searching for a very special adopter-someone patient, cat-savvy, and willing to let her bloom in her own time. She likely won't be a lap cat anytime soon, and that's okay. What she will do is quietly melt your heart in the little ways she shows she's learning to trust-like purring when you pet her under the chin, or gently kneading your hand when she's feeling calm and safe.During the day, Dove prefers the security of cozy hiding spots. But when the world is quiet and the lights are low, she comes alive-exploring her surroundings, playing on her own, and using her litter box like the tidy girl she is. These moments of freedom show us there's a playful, curious cat just beneath the surface, waiting for the right person to help her feel safe enough to show her true self.Dove would do best in a calm, quiet home with no young children, and with someone who truly understands that love can't be rushed.
