My story

Say hello to Denver, a 1 year and 11-month-old boy who’s still learning to trust the world — but already knows he wants to find his furever home. Denver is timid and shy, often taking his time to come out of his shell. But don’t let that fool you — he’s got a big, lovable heart just waiting for the right person to help him feel safe. With patience, kindness, and a little time, Denver will reward you with gentle affection and quiet companionship.He’s the kind of cat who’ll thrive in a calm home where he can go at his own pace — and where he’ll never have to wonder if he’s truly wanted again.If you`re someone who believes that every heart deserves a chance to heal, Denver is ready to meet you. Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
