My story

Hana A17387523 lb. spayed female, approx 8 months old -This special, little lady came to us injured as she had been hit by car. 😞 She is doing well but will still yelp in pain if she’s playing with the other vet dogs and gets knocked into. She’s walking well though. Will need some restricted activity for 4-6 weeks.-She loves to sniff and explore on walks-Friendly and loves pets and snuggles-Affectionate and gives kisses-Likes treats, sits and takes them nicely-Playful and likes toys-Sweet gal!-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-3:30 BUT our adoptions are done 7 days a week from 10:30am -3:00pm. •The last potential adopter must arrive before 3:00 pm so we have time to properly help you before closing. **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
