We are a non-profit organization and we are completely 100% volunteer run. We DO NOT have a shelter and only approved applicants can make appointments with our foster homes to meet the dogs we have.Our volunteers will not discuss dogs we have available for adoption UNTIL you have an application on file and are approved to adopt.General Notes | Amber is a young and exceptionally fluffy beauty with a gentle soul. This shy sweetheart has a coat that's even more cloud-like than her puppies and a gaze that speaks volumes without a bark. She's a connoisseur of quiet corners, a champion of gentle cuddles, and a master of turning timid tail-wags into heartwarming greetings. Her favorite pastimes include observing the world from a safe distance, making slow and steady friendships, and transforming simple moments into peaceful retreats. Approach with kindness, and you might just find your heart stolen by this fluffy, gentle soul. She still doesn't enjoy being touched and may have experienced some trauma prior to joining her current foster family. Story | Amber and her puppies were pulled from a high-kill shelter in Houston. Her past life may have been challenging, resulting in her current cautious demeanor, but her foster is focused on demonstrating consistent kindness and unwavering patience to help her feel secure. More than anything, Amber would love to find a patient family who will open their hearts and home to help her learn, at her own pace, that she is finally safe and loved by humans.Other Dogs | Amber does great with other dogs. She's being fostered with 4 other dogs and does well with them. Cats | Amber has not been cat tested.Children | Amber hasn't been around young children yet. Due to her shy nature, she'd do best with older children who can respect her space and understand that she needs time before she will trust them. Training | Puppy duty: done! Training: ON! Amber is eager to learn and become the ultimate companion for her waiting forever family.Leash | In progress. Activity Level | Moderate. Having poured every ounce of her energy into her adorable chaos crew, Amber is officially ready for her 'me time' renaissance! Think zoomies without tiny ankle-biters and maybe, just maybe, a spa day that involves actual relaxation and zero puppy slobber! This momma deserves to finally cut loose and revel in some well-earned freedom!Health Notes | healthy!Thank you! | Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $525. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only.  To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process.Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption.We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.  Your application is good for one year from date of application for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. May 26, 2025, 2:07 am
