My story

Clarice is a quiet comforter with a gentle heart—and the steady presence her best friend Emily Rose depends on. At 4 years old, this grey-and-white girl may be shy at first, but don’t be surprised if, after a few calm minutes, she stretches her way into your lap for soft pets and quiet companionship. She's the more confident half of her bonded pair and often leads the way when her best friend, Emily Rose, is feeling unsure. Clarice and Emily Rose came to the shelter as kittens from a hoarding case and have been inseparable ever since. They recently lost their home in a house fire, and the transition has been tough, especially for Emily. Clarice plays a big role in helping her feel safe and supported, and because of this, the two must be adopted together. Clarice has previously coexisted with other cats and a dog, and was around children of various ages. However, due to Emily’s sensitivities, they would do best in a calm, quiet home without young or loud children. If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in quiet moments and building trust over time, Clarice and Emily Rose are ready to fill your home with soft love and sweet companionship.
