My story

Welcome, London! This girl is amazing. About 3.5 years old and around 49 lbs of pure muscle (she clearly doesn’t skip gym day), London appears to be an American Bully — and she’s as sweet and quiet as they come. She is all people friendly including dogs and cats! She passed all temperament testing with flying colors! We pulled London from the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility in Jackson, where she was a staff and volunteer favorite. She was surrendered by someone who said they didn’t have time for her. Sadly, London was battling a UTI. She completed a round of meds at the shelter, but as soon as they ended, her urine showed blood. Thankfully, one of our incredible fosters, Alex (who also recently adopted our girl Mel!), stepped up to take her in. Today, we rushed London to our amazing vet Dr. Glicker for a full workup — urine culture, fecal, bloodwork, and x-rays. Her white blood cell count was off the charts, and while imaging didn’t show stones, her bladder is definitely inflamed. She’s now on a stronger antibiotic while we await results and get her feeling better. Thank you Alex for helping this sweet girl. A shout out to Purrfurred Vet Care - Dr. Tracie Glicker, DVM for being so thorough and making the time to get her in! She’s settling into her foster home tonight, and once she’s medically cleared, London will be available for adoption.
