Quick Facts Name: Dari  Age: 9 months old (born August 2024)  Gender: Female  Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix  Color: White   Weight: 8kg    My PersonalityHi there! My name’s Dari, and I’m one of those pups who might take a moment to get to know you but once I do, I’m all yours. Give me a yummy treat, and I’ll gladly come closer with a curious heart and wagging tail. After we’ve had a little time to build trust, I’ll even let you scoop me up into your arms. I may flatten my body at first, just to show I’m taking it all in, but it’s only because I’m trying to understand everything around me.I’m still discovering the world, and sometimes when I hear a sound at the door or notice something unfamiliar, I’ll let out a little bark just to let you know I’m paying attention. I love feeling safe, and once I do, I’m the sweetest little companion.   Social SkillsWith People: I can be a little shy at first, but food is the way to my heart! If you’re patient and kind, I’ll warm up and happily accept pets even being picked up and cuddled. I haven’t met small kids under 13 yet, so I’d probably do best in a calm home with adults or older children who understand gentle dogs like me.With Other Dogs: I’m a social girl! I love meeting other pups and happily greet both familiar and new friends. I especially get along with dogs my size or bigger. I’m also very polite if another dog gets cranky, I just walk away. No drama here! I live with my sister Byeol, and we have a very sweet bond. She’s a bit more reserved, but we balance each other out beautifully.With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so that’s still a mystery!   On My Walks‍Walking is a new adventure for me! I’m still getting used to all the sounds and sights outside, so sometimes I’ll pause or even lay down when something surprises me. But I’m learning quickly and just need someone patient to help me build confidence step by step. Oh, and when it’s time to go for a ride? I’m super calm once I’m in the kennel, but I do prefer being gently lifted into the car for now. I’m getting braver every day!   Life at HomeI’m currently living in a cozy space with my sister, so I do get a little restless at times. I love to explore and need room to stretch my legs. If I’m in a small area for too long, I might scratch at the floor or wall to tell you I’m ready to go play or cuddle.At home, I’m quiet and calm (except when I hear the front door that’s when my curiosity perks up). I’m comfortable in a kennel, don’t guard my food or treats, and I share nicely with people and other pups. The only thing I’m still figuring out? Being grabbed suddenly it startles me a little. But when you go to pick me up, I’ll lie down and wait patiently, letting you know I’m ready if you are.   My Ideal HomeI’d love to find a home that gives me space to roam, people to love, and time to grow. I’m looking for someone who understands that a little patience goes a long way and who will celebrate each milestone with me.
