My story

Say hello to Darcy, a sweet brindle beauty with a heart as big as her playful zoomies! At 3 years old, this charming girl is still full of life and love—she just needs the right person to help her shine.Darcy can be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—once she knows you`re a friend, she blossoms into a goofy, affectionate companion who’s all about the snuggles. Give her a few minutes to warm up, and you`ll be rewarded with tail wags, joyful bounces, and a pup who lives for attention.She absolutely loves to stretch her legs and bound around in a fenced-in yard, where she can let her energy out and show off her silly side. Treats? Yes, please! Darcy is food-motivated and eager to learn, but she’ll benefit from some basic obedience training to help her become the best version of herself.Darcy would do best in a home without cats or small animals, as she tends to get a little too curious about them. She may be able to live with the right dog friend after a proper introduction.If you`re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving companion who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, Darcy might be your girl.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100
