My story

Meet Cameo! The beautiful black and white “house panther” with the silkiest fur, the grumpiest looking scowl, most delicate meow, and the cutest single white chin hair. She is cautious and sometimes startles easily, but she has become very playful and loving in her foster home! Treats are the way to her heart and she’s basically a feline MENSA candidate who enjoys clicker training and has never met a puzzle toy she couldn’t master. Cameo loves being pet, but knows what she likes and will let you know too. Top of the head rubs? YES please! Cheek rubs? Don’t you dare! Once you learn to speak her language, she is a charming buddy who loves to tell you about her day with chirps, murmurs and trills, begs for head rubs, and loves to bread-loaf a few feet away while you read or work. Cameo prefers human friends who understand her need to take things at her own pace and will thrive in a calm home with someone who can read her cues. She also would likely love a friendly, confident cat companion who can model lap cat behavior! If you’re ready to get to know this sweet and sometimes salty lady, Cameo will reward you with her charming conversations, show you her favorite toys, and even grace you with the occasional belly showing. Could you be the person Cameo is waiting for? Dog sociability: Probably best in a dog-free home! Cat sociability: Previously lived in an outdoor colony with other cats! Would likely do well with proper slow introduction! Kid sociability: May do best with older kids who can respect her boundaries. Likes: Head rubs, Churu treats, wand toys, puzzle feeders, cronchy treats, toy mice, felt balls, clicker training, being near her humans
