My story

Hi, my name is Barracuda and I very recently moved to the area from Texas! I am a handsome long-haired tuxedo cat. With all the changes in my life, I am a little nervous and skittish right now, but I do warm up to new people through play. Despite my namesake, I do not have much in common with the predatory saltwater fish as I usually run and hide if I get nervous! But I am not too nervous to enjoy a good game of cat and mouse with a sparkly wand toy. At first I will play coy and pretend that I do not want to play (What wand toy?? I don't see anything!), but after a few moments I just have to relent and try to catch that pesky stuffed bird at the end of the string. It is just too tempting! Perhaps you have a quiet home and you would not mind letting me settle in and come out of my shell slowly? If I sound like I could be the cat for you, please stop by the shelter and visit me today.
