My story

Papa-Schnauzer male, ~ 2 yr. (April 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Papa was rescued from a high kill inner city shelter. He was not holding up well in the scary shelter environment, didn't like the crate, noise. We can totally understand how that will scare many dogs. He's been to the Vet, is a healthy 2 yr. old and is hoping for a loving forever home. We do not know his history but know life will be better moving forward. He's about 20# and a good boy. The Rescue requires a training program for Papa and his new adopter. Training is invaluable experience for both Papa and the adopter to learn how to communicate and work together as a team. A family without small children and cats is probably best, as we do not have a history on Papa. Papa's adoption fee is $650, to help cover the Vetting already done. He's had the normal Vet care, plus a Dental & bloodwork /blood panel. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com.
