My story

MEET THE ARTIST - FRAN FRAN!! Introducing Fran — a sweet and bubbly Boxer mix who lives for treat time! If you love spending time in the kitchen, Fran is your perfect sous chef. She gets incredibly excited whenever you grab a bag (any bag!), convinced it’s full of treats. While she sometimes needs a gentle reminder to sit and wait patiently, her enthusiasm is hard to resist. Fran is beginning to come out of her shell and is learning to enjoy social time, especially lounging on the couch with her pup pals. She’s very submissive and hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t like. If she ever feels unsure or overwhelmed, she’ll quietly retreat to her safe place — usually her bed or the kitchen. Walks can be a little intimidating at first, but once she’s out the door, Fran really comes into her own. She’s making steady progress with potty training, though she hasn’t quite perfected it yet. Fran would thrive in a home with older children, as she can be nervous around the fast, unpredictable movements of younger kids. She’s looking for a loving, patient person (or family) — maybe with another dog who can show her the ropes. Fran came to us scared and unsure, but with a little love and time, her true personality is shining through.
