My story

Meet Georgina, a dainty 9.6 pound, 5 year old, Lhasa Apso mix. She is a little dog with a big heart who is ready to find her perfect forever home. This sweet girl is house-trained, letting you know when she needs to go outside, and keeps her crate clean, though she much prefers being out and about with her people rather than confined. Georgina enjoys the simple pleasures in life—short walks where she prances proudly, car rides, soft toys to play with, and lounging around the house or yard. She’s a tiny dog with a lot of personality, making adorable little grumbly noises as she entertains herself with her toys or snuggles up in your lap. While she currently lives with other dogs and a cat, Georgina is starting to show that she'd really love to be the center of attention. She would thrive as an only pet, soaking up all the love and princess treatment she knows she deserves—and she’ll happily return the favor with snuggles, kisses, and unwavering loyalty. Described as friendly but initially shy and timid, Georgina takes a little time to warm up. Once she feels safe, she becomes a very affectionate companion who adores being held and cuddled. Her foster mom says she is an easy, delightful little dog who is ready to bring warmth and love into the right home. If you are looking for a tiny best friend who will happily curl up on your lap and brighten your days, Georgina is waiting to meet you! Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
