My story

Fans of the television show “Glee” will undoubtedly remember the scene when Rachel, in very obnoxiously Rachel fashion, first meets exchange student, Sunshine Corazón. A mini singing battle ensues, which leaves Rachel miffed by Sunshine’s unexpected talent. Sunshine, played by actor Jake Zyrus, ignores Rachel’s arrogance and ego and shows up for auditions in spite of Rachel’s attempt to keep her away. We have a super-duper pup named Zyrus who wants you to know that whether you sing like an angel or croak like a frog, he will adore you either way! Shelter volunteers love this sweet boy:“Oh my goodness, Zyrus baby! This boy is as sweet as they come! He was very excited to get out of his kennel and come over to a play yard. Once in the yard he was very friendly and bouncy. I sat on the ground and he basically wove himself around my body, in and out between my arms, soaking in all the pets! He has a shy little kennel mate who he nuzzled and encouraged. He is a very loving, playful cutie! He`s got the cutest curly cue tail! He enjoyed exploring the yard, smelling all the smells, dipping his toes in the pool, and getting up on the chair; he has perfect sweet puppy energy!”Zyrus recently enjoyed a day trip out in the community, slurping up a pup cup and exploring a new park! He was described as a social, fun, curious and loveable guy who loves going for rides in the car and running. Zyrus shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Sunshine nailed her audition with the song, “Listen,” which included the lyrics, “It is time for my dreams to be heard…” Zyrus hopes that you will make his dreams come trueand take him home today!
