MARISSA

My story

This chocolate-colored beauty is Marissa! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 4/23, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Marissa is cute as can be and sweet as sugar! The volunteers describe her as calm and quiet in her kennel. She is initially a little shy, but warms up quickly with gentle pets and affection. She does know how to sit nicely when asked. We imagine that Marissa will come out of her shell in a loving home, and she'll be more playful and energetic. Please ensure you have the time, energy, and patience to commit to a young dog before adopting. Marissa is approximately 1 year old and weighs 31 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Marissa is waiting patiently in run 303; her ID # is 9538. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
