*MUST BE ADOPTED WITH STORM* Myara (Maera) is an 11-year-old spayed female Terrier who’s ready to enjoy the quieter side of life. Sweet and independent, she’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a dog with a calm demeanor but still loves to be involved in the day-to-day activities of the household. Maera has lived with kids of all ages and is comfortable around them, though she enjoys her space and some quiet time. She gets along well with other calm dogs but would prefer a low-energy doggy companion to match her pace. Her history with cats is unknown, and she does have a tendency to chase small animals, so a home without them is ideal. Maera is a smart girl who knows her basic commands—sit, down, stay, and come—and she’s more than happy to show off her tricks. While she is vocal and will let you know if she’s got something to say, she’s also content to relax and enjoy a lazy day at home. If you’re looking for a gentle, easygoing dog to share your space with, Myara (Maera) could be your perfect match. With her sweet nature and laid-back attitude, she’s ready for a calm, loving home to spend her golden years. Visit the shelter Monday – Saturday from 12pm-3pm to meet our adoptable dogs.
