My story

Hi! My name is Basil and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 2 month old Male Aussie mix who is eager for a new home! I'm a spunky dude who rays with confidence and love to show off to everyone. I unfortunately came from an overrun of other dogs and overcrowded sheltering, since coming here I adapted very quickly with the love of staff and volunteers. I will be a larger size dog, so I would benefit from an active household who will continue to work on training to set me up for success as an adult. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
