My story

Hello, my name is Flopsy! I am a 13 year old female Brussels Griffion/Pug mix that weighs approx. 17lbs. I was surrendered to RAC due to my previous home no longer being able to care for me. I am a sweet girl that would love to find a FURever home to spend my golden years with. I am crate trained and very low maintenance. I am at the age where I appreciate a good long nap in your lap and a relaxing afternoon sunbathing while my family enjoys their time in the yard. I was raised around children and I shared my previous home with a cat. I have not shared a home with another dog so a meet and greet is suggested if you have another dog in the home. RAC staff will be in touch in order to schedule a meet and greet. My adoption fee is $125 which includes my spay, rabies, microchip, basic yearly boosters, and heartworm test.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
