My story

I’m Rowdy, a pittie-border collie mix weighing in at 7 pounds at the end of April. I think I’m about 7 weeks old, so I’m not quite sure how big I will get. My name says it all! I have lots of energy and love to run around and play hard with my 4-legged foster sisters and brothers. I’m spunky with a lot of attitude and I’m sure to be a joy and light in your life. I’m so young that I haven’t learned my puppy manners yet like potty training and leash walking. I am smart though, so I am making strides in the right direction. I sleep in my crate at night, even though it takes me a minute or two to settle. I've never met a stranger, and I’m always ready for a good belly or back rub! I play hard and sleep hard! Toys are my favorite, and I’ll be sure to put a smile on your face with my crazy antics! If you are looking for the best snuggle and play buddy, I’m the one for you! ***PLEASE NOTE*** This pup has not yet been altered and requires an extra $100 spay/neuter deposit. JCAPL will pay for the procedure at a partner clinic and once completed, the deposit will be refunded to the adopter. However, a non-local adopter is required to pay for the spay/neuter at their own veterinarian by a specific date. After proof of the procedure is provided, $50 of the adoption fee will be refunded with the deposit. Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center.
