My story

Introducing Bruno: 80 pounds of blocky-headed American Bulldog charm, built like a tank but soft like a toasted marshmallow on the inside - and did we mention he’s absolutely beautiful? Like, head-turning, stop-you-on-the-street kind of handsome. He’s 4 years old, crate-proficient, house-savvy, and totally into adult-only living—no small kids, no yappy dogs, and cats are still under investigation. Bruno isn’t here for drama—he’s here for couch time, quiet strolls, and someone who can commit to his fancy lifelong prescription urinary food. He recently met a big intact male dog through a kennel and was all tail wags and wiggles—so he might vibe with the right chill canine roommate. We’re looking for a foster-to-adopt hero to help this meatball settle in and shine. If you’re into big dogs with even bigger hearts (and a little extra drool), Bruno might just be your soulmate. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
