How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in on January 18, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Kenya, a super sweet, gentle dog with a heart full of love! Kenya can be a bit shy with new faces and places, but once she feels comfortable, she's all about gentle affection and cuddles. Kenya loves to carry her favorite toy when she's feeling a little nervous, and when she is feeling more playful she loves to shred toys to see what might be hiding inside. Sometimes she will even carry two or three at a time! Kenya is easy to handle and walks well on a leash. She's also a fan of chewing on bones and loves treats, making her a quick learner when it comes to positive reinforcement! She is VERY gentle when she takes her treats. She enjoys soft petting and really thrives in calm, quiet environments where she can feel safe.Kenya will do best in a quiet home with patient adopters who can help her continue building confidence. She's incredibly sweet and responds well to calm voices, but would prefer a home without the hustle and bustle of young children or other dogs. She's still working on building her confidence, but lots of love, she'll be your loyal and loving companion. She is a staff favorite who loves to hang around her favorite people!Come meet this sweet girl today-she's ready to find her new family!
