SAMBUCA- IN FOSTER

My story

Hello there humans! My name is Sambuca, but you can call me Sammi. I am in need of a permanent home to lay my beautiful head. Foster care is fine, but I`m really looking for some humans who will dote on me like the tortie princess that I am. Yes, I`m sure you`ve heard all about the `tortie-tude` and you know what? It`s true. I do have a little bit of `tude, but my foster mom says I`m a really sweet kid and she`s been doing this longer than I`ve been alive, so you really should take her word for it. Now, some basics about me. I`m a young lady, only 1yo. I`m a pretty petite girl, especially my paws. My foster mom just keeps gushing about how cute they are. Something about toe beans...I don`t know. Anyway, back to me. I really love feather toys. I`ve gotta keep my hunting skills sharp and those feathers don`t stand a chance. I do need a scratching post in my new home. I`m super good about not scratching furniture as long as I`ve got that outlet. (Scratching is actually a really healthy behavior for cats. You know that early morning stretch when you get out of bed? That`s what my scratching posts help me to do!) My room currently has a window with a view of birds and squirrels, which I really love, so if you`ve got one of those, I`d be super happy. I could live with another cat as long as I have some personal space. I haven`t met my foster mom`s dogs, so any introduction to dogs would need to be slow and understand that my first reaction will probably be to hiss at them. Oh! One more thing....because I`m a lady and know what I like and don`t like, I would like to let anyone who is interested in meeting me know that picking me up for cuddles is not ok. I`m super willing to come to you, rub up on you, head butt, purr, make biscuits, the works, but just let me have that tiny bit of dignity so I can control where my paws go. M`kay?
