My story

Ready for his flight to Toronto upon adoption—currently in Korea. Background: Zen was rescued from a city pound in Hanam earlier this year, just before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Since then, he’s been safe and cared for at our boarding house, living alongside other dogs. Personality and Socialization: Zen is a smart, affectionate boy with medium-high energy. He’s very friendly and social, and warms up to new people right away. He loves human company and bonds quickly—he’s happiest when he’s around his people. Zen is also a quick learner and loves going on walks. With other dogs, he gets along well overall but isn’t particularly interested in them. He can be a bit dominant and prefers to be the boss, so he’d thrive best as the only pet in the home. He hasn’t been tested with cats or young children. Behaviour: Zen is both curious and independent. While he loves being close to people, he’s also good at keeping himself entertained with toys and quiet time. He prefers doing his business outside but is also pee pad-trained. Zen is great in the car, behaves well during vet visits, and even handles bath time like a pro. Walks are one of his favorite activities—he enjoys following his humans and exploring the outdoors. Health and Diet: Zen has been fully vetted and is in great health. During his neuter surgery, he also had a hernia surgery. He’s microchipped, fully vaccinated, and takes monthly parasite prevention. He eats kibble twice a day and has shown no allergies. Ideal Home: Zen would do best with an active adopter or family who enjoys the outdoors and spending quality time with their dog. He thrives on attention and would love to be the only pet in the home, where he can soak up all the love for himself. Zen is sweet, cuddly, and so ready to find his person—someone who’ll give him the happy, secure life he’s waited so patiently for.
