My story

At 1 year old, this 28-pound Black Mouth Cur mix may not come with a tiara, but she absolutely rules the kingdom of snuggles, treats, and tail wags. With her tan-and-white coat and black snout, Princess Ann is as regal as she is ridiculous—in the best way.Her royal highness has quickly adapted to palace life with her foster family, which includes a friendly resident dog, a mysterious cat (whom she admires from a respectful distance), and two young subjects (ages 8 and 12) who she adores. She’s got excellent manners for a young pup—100% housetrained, crate-trained (she even puts herself to bed!), and working hard on her leash skills. She’s still learning to ignore those shocking peasant sounds like slamming car doors, but her bravery grows by the day.Princess Ann is equal parts playful and polite—she’ll bounce around with joy, leap into your lap like a court jester, and then settle down for a royal nap once the excitement passes. What truly sets her apart is her joyful, easygoing spirit. She’s endlessly curious, always ready for a game or cuddle, and remarkably adaptable—whether she’s in the middle of playtime chaos or lounging in a quiet room, she knows just how to fit in. She’s the kind of pup who brings laughter with her goofy grin and comfort with her calm presence. No matter where she is, she makes it feel like home.? Loves: Treats, toys, zoomies in the yard, couch cuddles, and making new friends (furry or human)?? Not a fan of: Startling outdoor noises or carriage rides (okay, fine, “car rides”)?? Special talents: Sleeping through the night, spreading joy wherever she goes, and melting hearts with a single tail wagPrincess Ann is looking for a forever home where she can continue to learn, love, and lounge like the royalty she is. Could that be with you? If you’d like to take Princess Ann home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $350 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure t

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Princess Anne_La, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
