My story

Hi, I’m Susie — your daily dose of sunshine! ☀️🐾 I’m a 5-year-old, 78-pound yellow Lab with a big smile, a bigger heart, and an endless supply of tail wags. I’m currently still living with my owner, but I’m ready to find my forever home — whether that’s through adoption or foster-to-adopt. Either way, I’m hoping you might be my perfect match! I’m a people-loving, toy-carrying, sunbathing goofball who just wants to be part of the fun. I get along great with men, women, and kids (ages 6+), and I absolutely love other dogs — especially ones who want to play chase, wrestle, or just romp around the yard with me. Having a dog buddy in the home would make me extra happy! I’ve got a few silly quirks that make everyone smile — like crossing my front paws like a proper little lady, digging the perfect sun hole, or chatting with you when I’ve got something important to say. I live for fetch, walks through the neighborhood, splashing in the water, and showing off my tricks. If you’ve got a fenced yard and a stash of toys, I’ll think I hit the jackpot. Now, I do have one firm request: no cats, please. I like to chase them way too much.
